    Old State House

    Site of the Hartford Convention and the first Amistad trial - this statehouse is said to be the oldest statehouse in the nation. Completed in 1796, the statehouse features restored rooms, including the 1820 Senate Chamber, the Victorian-era City Council room and the Colonial Revival-style Supreme Courtroom.
